Amy Brakeman
Amy is an independent investor. She focuses on solutions that increase the wealth of American families who continue to be excluded from existing financial systems. She leads the investment and philanthropic portfolio of Pluralize Capital.
Earlier in her career, Amy was a management consultant at McKinsey & Company, and later co-founded the Umsizi Fund.
Amy holds degrees from the University of California, Berkeley (BA, Economics and Psychology) and Harvard Business School (MBA).
Kim Griffin
Kim is a resource mobilizer. She supports Pluralize Capital in impact due diligence, strategy development, and behind-the-scenes organization.
Her career experience spans impact investing, non-profit fundraising, and affordable housing financing, including roles at Toniic, The Nature Conservancy, and Habitat for Humanity.
Kim earned degrees from Southwestern University (BA, Environmental Studies and Spanish) and St. Edward’s University (MBA). She was a 2022-23 Fellow with the Just Economy Institute.
